Winning streak maybe?

Could I be on a mini winning streak dare I say? I can only hope. I just need one big win to make things right in my world. To ease this drudgery of debt that looms over my head. Anyhow, I won a First aid kit and also $50 in an instant win from Kraft. This was my first time ever winning from Kraft. They hold many contests, but they are so heavily advertised and entered that they are harder to win. You would have thought I had won a million bucks, I was so excited to see the winning screen. I already have plans for the money. I started a new healthy living regimen called Body for Life. It encourages weight lifting and therefore I need a weight bench. I actually went to Walmart the day before winning the $50 and saw a bench for $48.77. How's that for working out for the best! Maybe soon I'll be winning a fitness contest for a great bod. Lol. I can dream can't I?

End of the Month

This month is almost over and done. In the sweeping world that is a good thing. Hundreds of contests end at the end of the month. Everyone tries to get their last entries end because the cut off time in hopes of winning a prize. Any prize. Of course you just keep plugging away, entering your dailies and whatnot. But the chance of winning is always greatest after a boatload of contests end. I lose 100-200 usually. I can't say I miss having to enter them day in and day out, but there's always just as many to take their place. Just as a great many end at the end of the month. A large number begin at the beginning of the month, the next day. So you start the cycle back over. Trying to increase the number of sweepstakes you've entered. It's a numbers game. The more you enter, the more likely you are to win. I usually win something for every 200-300 sweepstakes I enter. Sometimes more or less. The only thing that is for certain is you have to be in it to win it. I love that motto!

A WIN Received

No wins to report, well I take that back. I won a supposed gift certificate to a clothing online store. But it was more or less a gimmick to get people to buy something from their site. They only had one or two items that were under $10 and the shipping wasn't covered by the gift certificate. I did however receive today a win I had won a couple of weeks ago. I won a nice backpack from an instant win by Gillette. It's always fun to get a win in the mail. A surprise win is the best. There's nothing like the feeling of coming home to a delivered package and opening it up to find a great prize you won. I love the feeling of winning! The contest is still going on and there are lots of great prizes to be had. I've already scored mine now go get yours!

My Neck of the Woods: Online-sweepstakes

There are many online sweepstake sites out there. Just to name a few:

www.sweepsadvantage.com
www.cashnetsweeps.com
www.grandmajam.com
www.contesthound.com
www.contestalley.com

But my personal favorite is www.online-sweepstakes.com . This is the one I frequent. There are no ads bombarding the site, the forums are interesting and informative and everything is organized nicely. Basic membership is free, but premium services cost $30 for one year. If you just want to try it out you can choose the 3 month trial of only $12.50. It is very much worth. I have won many times over what I paid for my membership. You get extra features that the basic membership doesn't include. But if money if low just start with the basic membership and tell them I sent you. Remember you have to in it to win it!

Introduction

One of my favorite and most lucrative hobbies is sweepstaking. Or contesting, as some people like to call it. This simply means I enter sweepstakes and contests. I enter exclusively online and I've won a treasure trove of prizes. Even though that mega grand prize still eludes me, it is a fun hobby. Not only that, but it's cheap, easy and very rewarding. It does require a bit of committment and a lot of patience. Join me as I show you the ins and outs of the hobby, what's up for grab, how to win and what to expect. Lets get sweeping!
