Wall Art Win

I received a beautiful silver and red wall sculpture in the mail the other day. It will go nicely in my living room I plan to do in deep red. I haven't taken it out of the box, but I do have pic of it. I also received my $50 gift card from Kraft. I decided to splurge on myself a little. I plan to get a manicure and pedicure. And I still should have enough left over to get a Starbuck's Strawberries and Creme and a book from Barnes and nobles.

The end of the month is near and tons of sweeps expire as always. I really need a big win. A cash prize would do me quite nicely. Or even something expensive to sell. That would really help out right now, with my move. I hope to be reporting a good win soon.

Wins are wins

I won a few small things since my last post. One thing was a $10 gift card for a great site called Spotwinner.com You watch commercials on the site of varying topics and products. For everyone you watch, you receive 10 points. When you reach 5000 points you can exchange them for a $5 giftcard. The more points the higher the giftcard value.

You can also win by being picked instantly whild watching the commercial clips. Which is how I won. And if thats not enough, they also give away daily, weekly and montly prizes via drawings. The prizes are great like video games, video cameras, dvd players and ipods. I haven't won a large prize yet, but I have hope. It's easy and quick to enter, so I try to visit daily.

If you sign up it would be great if you used me (bdsweetie-Shania) as a referral.

Freebies!

I don't have any wins to report, but the next best thing to a win is a freebie. You usually fill out a similar form with your name and address and all that jazz. A few weeks later you get a little gift in the mail. It's usually a trial size, but free is free. I like the little cereal boxes the best. Here a couple of freebies to start you on your quest to free-dom. I find that Walmart offers quite a few freebies. It would be to your advantage to check back with them often.

Winning streak maybe?

Could I be on a mini winning streak dare I say? I can only hope. I just need one big win to make things right in my world. To ease this drudgery of debt that looms over my head. Anyhow, I won a First aid kit and also $50 in an instant win from Kraft. This was my first time ever winning from Kraft. They hold many contests, but they are so heavily advertised and entered that they are harder to win. You would have thought I had won a million bucks, I was so excited to see the winning screen. I already have plans for the money. I started a new healthy living regimen called Body for Life. It encourages weight lifting and therefore I need a weight bench. I actually went to Walmart the day before winning the $50 and saw a bench for $48.77. How's that for working out for the best! Maybe soon I'll be winning a fitness contest for a great bod. Lol. I can dream can't I?

Good End and Start

The month of July has ended and I won a prize on the last day. How great is that?! I got a call from New York saying I won a prize pack which includes a t-shirt, tank top, luggage tags etc. I'm not even sure what sweepstakes it comes from. The lady told me but I wasn't listening to well I was so excited. By the way, I don't recommend that. You're SUPPOSED to listen carefully so you can make sure you follow any directions that give you and know what to do. Luckily all she needed was to verify my address. They're sending it out in 8-10 weeks.

If that wasn't good enough news, I also won a prize today on first day of August. An instant win, which was surprising. I rarely win instants in the middle of the day. The best time, I've found, is late, late at night or early, early in the morning. Anyhow, I won a DVD from Universal. It doesn't say exactly what DVD, but it should be something fun to watch I'm sure. Most likely it will be a horror film, since that's what the contest was about. I'm going to confess a secret. I'm a scaredy cat. I don't watch scary movies much at all. I'm afraid of having nightmares. No kidding.

This is my very first giveaway for this blog. I'm excited and hoping it turns out well. So here we go:

I got a chance to see the new Batman movie "Dark Knight" over the weekend with my sister and little brother. It was kind of long, but good. I loved Heath Ledger as the Joker. He did an amazing job. He made the movie for sure. I also saw Spiderman 3 on dvd. So since I've had a superhero weekend my prize will be a superhero prize pack.

Up for grabs is a 4 pc Spiderman 3 study kit. It includes a pencil case, ruler, sharpner and eraser.

To enter just leave a comment telling me who your favorite superhero is and why.

End of the Month

This month is almost over and done. In the sweeping world that is a good thing. Hundreds of contests end at the end of the month. Everyone tries to get their last entries end because the cut off time in hopes of winning a prize. Any prize. Of course you just keep plugging away, entering your dailies and whatnot. But the chance of winning is always greatest after a boatload of contests end. I lose 100-200 usually. I can't say I miss having to enter them day in and day out, but there's always just as many to take their place. Just as a great many end at the end of the month. A large number begin at the beginning of the month, the next day. So you start the cycle back over. Trying to increase the number of sweepstakes you've entered. It's a numbers game. The more you enter, the more likely you are to win. I usually win something for every 200-300 sweepstakes I enter. Sometimes more or less. The only thing that is for certain is you have to be in it to win it. I love that motto!
